Last updated: 28 August 2026
1.Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Oracle Healthcare platform, including the website and mobile applications. By using Oracle Healthcare, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.
2.Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account or using any part of Oracle Healthcare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.
3.About Oracle Healthcare
Oracle Healthcare is a technology platform that connects patients with healthcare providers including doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies and laboratories. The platform provides tools for telemedicine consultations, digital prescriptions, laboratory services, pharmacy services, health monitoring, AI-assisted symptom assessment and emergency support.
Oracle Healthcare is a technology platform and does not itself provide medical services. Healthcare services available through the platform are provided by independent healthcare professionals and institutions.
4.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Oracle Healthcare. If you are under 18, a parent, guardian or authorised carer must create and manage the account on your behalf using the family proxy access feature.
5.User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You must not share your account credentials with others.
6.Patient Accounts
Patient accounts provide access to health records, consultations, prescriptions, laboratory results, health monitoring, the Health Passport and emergency features. Patients are responsible for providing accurate health information and for keeping their medical history current.
7.Healthcare Professional Accounts
Doctor accounts provide access to patient management, consultation tools, prescription writing, laboratory ordering and clinical notes. Healthcare professionals must hold valid licences and credentials for the jurisdictions in which they practise. They are responsible for all clinical decisions made through the platform.
8.Institution Accounts
Institution accounts (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories) provide administrative access to manage staff, services and operations. Institution administrators are responsible for managing user access within their institution and ensuring that staff use the platform appropriately.
9.Government and Enterprise Accounts
Government and enterprise accounts provide access to aggregated, anonymised public health data and analytics. These accounts are restricted to authorised personnel and must be used in accordance with applicable data protection and public health regulations.
10.Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised or used in violation of these Terms.
11.Healthcare Services
Oracle Healthcare provides technology tools that facilitate healthcare services. The availability of specific services may vary by provider, country and account type. Where a service is not available, the platform will indicate this accordingly.
12.Doctor Consultations
Consultations are conducted through video, audio or messaging. The healthcare professional providing the consultation is an independent provider responsible for the clinical care delivered. Oracle Healthcare provides the technology platform and is not responsible for clinical decisions made by healthcare professionals.
13.Appointments
You can schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments through the platform. Appointment availability depends on the healthcare provider's schedule and settings. Some appointments may require payment confirmation before they are confirmed.
14.Prescriptions
Digital prescriptions are issued by licensed healthcare professionals and routed to participating pharmacies. The prescribing doctor is responsible for the clinical appropriateness of the prescription. The dispensing pharmacy is responsible for verifying and dispensing the medication. Oracle Healthcare facilitates the electronic transmission of prescriptions but does not guarantee their acceptance or dispensing.
15.Laboratory Services
Laboratory test requests are sent to participating laboratory institutions. The laboratory is responsible for sample collection, processing and result reporting. Results are uploaded to the platform and made available to the patient and the ordering doctor. Oracle Healthcare facilitates the ordering and delivery of laboratory results but is not responsible for the accuracy of test results.
16.Pharmacy Services
Pharmacy services include prescription dispensing, medication management and repeat prescription requests. Participating pharmacies are independent entities responsible for the safe dispensing of medications. Oracle Healthcare facilitates the connection between patients and pharmacies but does not guarantee the availability of specific medications.
17.My Health Passport
The Health Passport consolidates your health information into a single record. You control access to your Health Passport through consent settings. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for managing access permissions for healthcare providers and family members.
18.AI Health Assessment
The AI symptom assessment feature provides preliminary, indicative health information based on the symptoms you describe. AI outputs do not constitute a medical diagnosis and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
19.Oracle Voice
Oracle Voice provides voice-based interaction with the platform. Voice input is transcribed and processed to enable hands-free use of certain features. You must provide consent before voice features are activated, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
20.Emergency and SOS Services
The SOS feature allows you to alert emergency services and share your location. This feature depends on the availability of connected emergency providers and network connectivity. The SOS feature is not a replacement for local emergency services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, contact your local emergency services number directly.
21.Payments
Some services on Oracle Healthcare require payment, including consultations, laboratory tests and subscriptions. Payments are processed through secure payment providers. You agree to pay all applicable fees for services you use. Pricing is displayed before you confirm a transaction.
22.Subscriptions
Certain account types may require subscription plans. Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your account settings. Subscription terms, including billing cycles and pricing, are displayed at the time of subscription.
23.Refunds and Cancellations
Refund and cancellation policies vary by service type. You may cancel appointments before the scheduled time, subject to the provider's cancellation policy. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. For specific refund enquiries, contact support@oraclehealthcare.com.
24.Third-Party Healthcare Providers
Healthcare providers available through Oracle Healthcare are independent entities. Oracle Healthcare is not responsible for the clinical care, advice or treatment provided by these independent healthcare professionals and institutions. Any dispute regarding clinical care should be addressed directly with the relevant provider.
25.Healthcare Professional Responsibilities
Healthcare professionals using the platform are responsible for maintaining valid licences, providing appropriate clinical care, maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all applicable healthcare regulations and professional standards. Oracle Healthcare provides the technology platform but does not supervise or direct clinical practice.
26.Patient Responsibilities
Patients are responsible for providing accurate health information, attending scheduled consultations, following treatment plans and communicating openly with their healthcare providers. Patients must not use the platform to obtain medical advice for conditions that require in-person examination or emergency care.
27.Prohibited Use
You must not use Oracle Healthcare to: provide false or misleading information; access another person's health information without authorisation; attempt to disrupt or compromise the platform's security; use the platform for any illegal purpose; or share your account credentials with unauthorised users.
28.Intellectual Property
The Oracle Healthcare platform, including its design, branding, software and content, is owned by Oracle Healthcare and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the platform without authorisation.
29.User Content
You retain ownership of the health information and other content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant Oracle Healthcare a licence to process and display that content as necessary to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
30.Platform Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from platform unavailability.
31.Third-Party Services
Oracle Healthcare integrates with third-party services for payment processing, cloud infrastructure and other functions. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party services may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
32.Medical Disclaimer
Oracle Healthcare is a technology platform and does not itself provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. AI-powered features provide preliminary, indicative information only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis. All clinical decisions remain with qualified healthcare professionals. In a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately — do not rely on the platform for emergency care.
33.Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Oracle Healthcare is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Oracle Healthcare provides the technology platform on an "as is" basis and does not warrant that the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted. Healthcare providers are responsible for the clinical services they deliver.
34.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Oracle Healthcare harmless from any claims, damages or liabilities arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
35.Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited use, or if required to protect the platform or other users. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
36.Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account through your profile settings. Upon deletion, your personal information will be removed from active use, subject to legal retention requirements for healthcare records.
37.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
38.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, unless otherwise required by applicable local law in the jurisdiction where you access the platform. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
